I'm changing out a failed water pump on my 2010 2.4L GV and have a couple of installation questions: - Is there a special procedure required to bleed the air out of the block's cooling system when refilling the radiator with anti-freeze? A bolt or plug to remove?
Couldbe worth draining the cooling system and refilling properly including burping it for air. Also possibly faulty temperature gauge - hook up an OBD scanner and torque application and check temperatures directly there. make sure thermostat starts opening at around 89°C, and that fans kick in when engine gets hot.
